For two years, the Microgrants team has been hard at work researching costs, deciphering processes, and compiling forms for identification documents in every state and territory in the United States. This research is still - and will always be - ongoing. Our program strives to make this information as transparent and accessible as possible, using. These are the same sources our advocates use to help you find the right paperwork, processes, and fees. Now you can access them at any time, from wherever you are most comfortable. We extend our deepest thanks to all the staff and volunteers that worked tirelessly to compile this information.
- Federal Identification
- Name Change by State, County and/or Territory
- Driver's License or State Identification Card by State, County or Territory
- Birth Certificates (coming soon) - At this time Microgrants does not cover the costs of birth certificates unless it is foreign and necessary for maintaining immigration status. However, we still would like you to be able to access this information and have included the results of our research here.
What to do if you can’t find your location - Please use our “Feedback Form” and we will research it for you. Please allow up to 2 weeks for submission requests to be honored. You can also use this form for comments on our tables or ideas about improvement. We’d love to hear from you!
What to do if the information for my location is listed incorrectly - Please use our "Feedback Form", and we will correct it. Because this information can be difficult to access, the Advocacy Library is intended to be a community-based and -created resource. Your input is crucial to keeping the information up to date and accessible. Please allow up to two weeks for submissions to be processed.
